This blog started as a notebook for an exhibition of Roman papyri and mummy portraits from the University of Manchester collections, and contemporary art of the Egyptian artist Fathi Hassan that took place at the John Rylands Library in Manchester from July to November 2012.
Since I enjoyed the experience of blogging and the exhibition brought to more work on objects from both the John Rylands papyri collection and the Manchester Museum I have decided to maintain the brand Faces&Voices.
